Default Most Common/Popular Pot-dragging \"Lines\"

What are the most common Pot taking lines that you use or have heard over the years.

Let's start with one that everyone pretty much knows.

"SHIP IT!"

I agree with you 100%. I hate the line "Ship it!" and want to hurt people when they say it. It isn't the bragging, it's just that it's soooo lame...and I hate when people think they're cool...because they're not.

I was playing in a tournament one time and a the chip leader busted someone out on the bubble on starts screaming and singing ship it baby ship it. I almost felt a little bad for the guy who lost with top pair. If it was me I may have gave her a few choice words but hey, it put me in the money.

And that's exactly the reason why many people say it. A'holes abound.

I agree. But I say it anyway. I find it's funny to say after I steal the blinds.

Wow, I'm not alone in being annoyed by that phrase. I heard it said last night when I lost a big pot, and I wanted to throw my card-weight at the guy. I'm still fuming this morning (great session though, overall).

I like to play like a 'gentleman', but it's good to know saying this might give somebody who's teetering a push into full-blown tilt. One can't have too many arrows in the quiver.

I've never had a problem with someone saying, "Ship it!" Is it supposed to be arrogant?

I prefer the classic, "Shoot the sherbert to Fat Herbert," but only because I am vain about my ample girth.

I always smile when a regular at my cardroom wins and says "Send me the cookies!"
