I play at 1/2 NL and I believe that raising with small suited connectors can actually loosen up all the weak tight rocks!

raising with SC's and small PP's to me is all about being aggressive...and if u hit hit...i think your looking at a nice pot...nothing wrong with raising but u jus need to be able to get away when your beat

I have not read many threads that mirror your characterization of 2+2 and I've read lots of threads.
