Default Runner Runner Flush

Table is very loose. PFR'er has been stacked and has been raising most pots preflop since. He's been multiway just about every time he's done this. So I expect to have this multiway in position with my call preflop. The river raisor is a calling station (45/6/.85/30). The blind will bet any piece of the board here.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

BB ($97.85)
UTG ($185.40)
MP ($136.70)
Hero ($162.65)
SB ($268.56)

Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
UTG calls $1, MP raises to $4, Hero calls $4, SB (poster) calls $3.50, BB calls $3, UTG calls $3.

Flop: ($20) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, MP checks, Hero checks.

Turn: ($20) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, MP checks, Hero checks.

River: ($20) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB bets $8, BB folds, UTG raises to $25, MP folds, Hero?

Blind has called me down twice with mid pair when I fired 3 times, so I could be making a $25 call in a potentially $75 pot. However, UTF's aggr. has me worried. There aren't many other smaller flushes possible given the last 3 cards, could this be a str8, 2 pair, or lower flush enough times to make this call?

I originally wrote in that you should call this, but as I'm looking at the board, there isn't really much you beat. What two pair is UTG going to have? Is he limping 68 UTG? Is he raising with that on the river?

This looks like a fold, but with SB potentially overcalling it makes it tough to muck. I think it's pretty marginal either way.

He'll limp with much worse than 68. Only reason his vpip is as "Low" as it is is because the two players before h im had PFR's of 60 and 20. Still I don't think he'd reraise this, a straight might.

as you are here . I am also not sure if I should be calling since the action has been reopened for SB to push me off after I call.

Donks will occasionally slowplay sets like this. I would be a bit concerned, but I don't think calling is so bad here.

so I could be making a $25 call in a potentially $75 pot

[/ QUOTE ]

not true you are calling 17 into a potentially 70$ pot and at 3.11:1 i make this call almost everytime. your flush is most likely highest and high enough to make this profitable ITLR... but not always best as you show

Call this river is probably ok, but raising is bad and is SB pushes you should prolly fold.

[/ QUOTE ]

Thanks for confirming. I felt folding this would be a bad idea although it went very strongly against my read of villain since I'd been playing with him for 100+ hands and seen a few hands he'd raised and shown down.
