10 10 on the bubble call a push to my raise?
Stakes: 100/200 Current level: 4 Next level in: 7 min.
Seat 2 : HERO has $8,100 Seat 7 : gbm420 has $4,840 Seat 8 : mrnuke has $1,855 Seat 9 : Sickboy-100 has $3,205 gbm420 is the dealer. mrnuke posted small blind. Sickboy-100 posted big blind. Seat 2 : HERO has Td Ts HERO called 200 and raised 800 gbm420 folded. mrnuke folded. Sickboy-100 called 800 and raised 2,205 and is All-in Villian has been playing better than average showing down good hands when he has had to, (pushed once in the SB into me, a couple of pushes from the button). Difficult to tell how loose/tight he is? I had raised in the previous round UTG with AQs and he thought about it before folding, so i showed (bad move?) Is this an autocall to his push? there is 4305 in the pot and another 2205 for me to call so just under 2:1 which is good unless he has an overpair. So do I want to let him double up or am I +ev here? Thanks Damian |

Call, [censored] him. He wants to mess with you? Well, you've got a hand to mess with him. Also, even by losing, you still have 5k.

Re: 10 10 on the bubble call a push to my raise?
Easy call. Even if you lose you're in second chip position. Considering you're getting about 2-1, the chances of him having an underpair or overcards far outweigh the odds of him having an overpair.
As for showing the AQs, I generally don't like showing anything. Eventually opponents assume you have nothing and spite call/push. Or maybe he thinks you have nothing because you had something last time. Either way, I call instantly. |
