Fold After Spiking An Ace
Villain is 41/13/1.2 after 400 hands.
I'm not sure if this was a good fold, but he really hasn't gotten out of line (that I've seen). Re: Fold After Spiking An Ace
Would a 13% pfr 3bet 77+ or TT+ or JJ+?
How about the AXo range? Does he 3bet as low as ATo? How much does a players pfr% corrolate with their 3betting range? Can it vary alot? I like to make a note of what a player 3bets with whenever I see one, but I haven't been at it long enough to draw any general conclusions. |

Re: Fold After Spiking An Ace
In this scenario, once he checks the flop behind you, he is favored to have either three kings or pocket aces.
You are most likely getting 11.5:4, or just under 3 to 1 pot odds to get to the showdown. So...does he have more than a 75% chance of having a monster? I think it's close, if only because there's always an "irrationality floor" of like 5%-15% where people (especially looser players) make a weird play for no logical reason or to get tricky. But I think folding is probably ok here. -v |
