Default maximum top quad value

25 NL full tilt,
in a many limped hand i held 44 in the bb. pot 1.45. to my delight a 4 hit the flop with a 2 and a 9 rainbow board. hoping to check call here i checked but it was checked around. turn brought another 4 and my mind figures to do the same thing since no one bet the flop they wont call a bet when another 4 hits so i check and once again no one attempts a steal on the pot. river brings a deuce. i bet 1$ and got one call from a 23. what do you all like for a bet at this point, not curious about bets on the flop or turn.

let me add that this game is being very loose passive which is why i dont want to know about any bets on the flop or turn. ive seen hands getting bet .25 into 1.25 and 4 folds so i thought checking was the best idea on flop and turn. agressive game i play it differently

well i guess if youre not curious about betting the flop/turn, theres not much you can do on the river except win a dollar with quads

You should be. Lead the flop. Lead the turn.

On the river I overbet the pot some ridiculous amount like $10.42, hoping someone's going to "keep me honest".

this is the line i would most likely take.. checking down just feels like i lost so much possible value.

My comments would be more concerned about the flop and turn. But you don't want that. I think your river bet is fine as a value bet. I don't think there is anything wrong with a nice overbet once in awhile here at these limits. Fire out 3,4 or 5 bucks, be surprised how many times a 2 calls you.

This is a pretty good line:

bet, bet, bet

never fails

Haha, this makes me feel better about having everyone fold to my aces or kings preflop for the fifht or sixth time in a row

You aren't getting paid unless someone has a good second best so you might as well bet and see if anyone is coming along. With a set on the flop you should always unless you are certain a pre-flop raiser will make a continuation bet.

BTW - It gets interesting when you bet with quads and get raised. I will have to see if I can find the hands where that happened to me.
