I was expecting -3.5.

The line seems low...that's what they WANT us to think.

I made a double bet on Carolina as soon as I saw this last night. The only decent teams the Bears have played all year are Cinncinati and Washington(with Patrick Ramsey in week 1). They lost both.

Ramsey was knocked out in the second quarter and he looked better than Brunell.

I like Carolina in this game, but I wouldn't be loading up. The Bears defense is too good and if they scheme Steve Smith well they could easily win. This is going to be an ugly game.

I am of the opinion that CHi D is highly overrated. I may be wrong. The only good Offense they played torched them, as did their #1 reciever, Chad Johnson.

The Panthers gave up 23 to the Saints, 27 to the Dolphins and 29 to the Pack. Weeeeeak. At least the Bears held to the Bengals to 24.

sygamel, that is true, but the panthers have been rolling since they came off the bye week....the game will not be a blow out by any means, but you would think that the bears would have to put up at least 17-21 points to have a shot...and putting up 17 against SF is not very impressive...granted, the weather defintely had an impact...i am certainly excited to see how both teams react out there on sunday b/c there is a lot of buzz out there about this game
