book questions
there are two books out there that are basic holdem guides that fall short of twoplustwo standards...one is by lee jones...the other is by somebody who I can't remember his name?????
I'm trying to give my friend a basic introduction to holdem...I would appreciate any basic books that explain odds and such to help him get to the miller book of low limit holdem |

Re: book questions
Getting Started in Hold Em by Ed Miller. This is the best book for your friend.

Re: book questions
I think GSIH is good, but it won't hurt to supliment with the Jones book either. I have not read v.3 though (and probably will not), but have heard it's improved.

There's a newer version (version 3) that's supposed to have fixed some of the weak-tight advice in the original two versions. |
