Cold Calling in a Massive Pot
Wacky online 10/20 game. 9 handed. I've been at the table for one orbit. The average pot is about 12 BBs.
SB is a magoo, UTG appears to be steaming because of SB, EP hasn't done anything out of line since I've been at the table, all others seem semi-loose to loose and fairly predictable. UTG limps, EP calls, 2 folds, LMP calls, CO calls, button raises, SB cold calls, I call from BB with 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], UTG limp/raises, everyone cold calls to me, I call. Flop: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (7 players, 21 SBs) SB checks, I bet, UTG calls, EP raises, LMP cold calls, CO folds, button cold calls, SB cold calls, I call, UTG calls. Turn: Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 players, 16.5 BBs) SB checks, I check, UTG bets, EP raises, folded to SB who cold calls, I cold call, UTG times out and is folded. River: K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players, 23.5 BBs) SB open folds, I check, EP bets, I call. |

Re: Cold Calling in a Massive Pot
There's no way bottom two is ahead on the turn. I assume you're calling hoping that all 4 of your outs are live. Turn call seems really marginal but the pot is massive. Riv call is easy with this giant pot even thought your hand is no good.

Re: Cold Calling in a Massive Pot
Fold the turn. Your implied odds are crushed by the times they make you a 2nd best hand, and I really, really doubt you're ahead here.
