Default Bet this River?

My first post.

BB is 52/1/.6 after about 50 hands.

After BB's flop raise, my thoughts were that he had an ace with a decent kicker. Should I be concerned that he may have hit that kicker by the river?

This answers a lot of my questions--I think I'm giving away too many showdowns.

IMO this type of player could be raising any ace on the flop. I bet/call the river.

I can see that it is an easy bet. What I don't see is: why do you not fold to a raise? Villain is quite passive. After being reraised on the flop and the high cards on the turn and river I would assume he would only reraise if he really had a hand with his AF.

Thanks to all who responded.

I imagine that it was hindsight that made me think that betting this river may have been a mistake. I've learned that calling the raise, most likely, was a mistake.

River: (9.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, Button raises, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 13.50 BB

Results in white below:
Button has Ac Qd (two pair, aces and queens).
Hero has Kh Ad (one pair, aces).
Outcome: Button wins 13.50 BB.

Bet the river. If villian hit 2-pair or better then poker happens. Most often villian pays you off so bet river and get paid.

Don't fear the queen. Bet. (I even make the crying call if raised, because if nothing else it makes me look loose, and lets me see what villain plays like this. And oh yeah, there's still a chance I win.)
