Aggressively playing the button: when big stacks collide
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (7 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx
UTG ($37.35) MP1 ($15.16) MP2 ($23.30) CO ($24.10) Hero ($43.15) SB ($4.60) BB ($40.95) Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.10. <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP1 calls $0.25, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $25</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, BB calls $24.75, MP1 folds. Flop: ($50.35) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> BB checks, Hero checks. Turn: ($50.35) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> BB checks, Hero checks. River: ($50.35) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> BB calls $15.95 (All-In), Hero calls $15.95. Final Pot: $82.25 Thoughts? My notes say MP1 occasioanlly likes to limp in and will fold to a sizable raise. BB is a little loose and likes defending his blinds. |

Re: Aggressively playing the button: when big stacks collide
lol id def say 100 BBs is a sizeable raise ...gj making MP fold, he probably wouldve sucked out on you with some lower pocket pair or 67s ....

Maybe you should bet $1.98 on the flop to find out where you're at

Re: Aggressively playing the button: when big stacks collide
I really don't see why you're raising so much. You will be called by a better hand almost all the time, and commit yourself to seeing a showdown regardless of what comes.

Re: Aggressively playing the button: when big stacks collide
Well played, if everyone except SB folds to your raise before the flop you had bought the button, and that is always nice because you will have position rest of the hand.
