Moving back to Party (LC)
Not to get too into the nitty gritty of why I did what I did on this hand (short version: I had a read), this stuff is unreal; people just don't play this stupidly on the skins.

Re: Moving back to Party (LC)
I have another one where I won a $140 pot at showdown with Q-high. That also never happens on the skins.

This is absolutely unreal...
What was the read on the first hand? Is that how he plays missed flush draws? |

This is absolutely unreal... What was the read on the first hand? Is that how he plays missed flush draws? [/ QUOTE ] We'd been playing at the same table about an hour and a half and I noticed he would bet pot or a little under when he had a hand (overpair, top pair, big draw, whatever) after raising preflop but would make huge overbets when he missed completely. His postflop aggression was something like 16 over those 100+ hands. When he checks the turn, I know he doesn't have the naked flush draw either as he'd bet the hell out of it and I probably have him drawing to 6 outs. Had he hit the ten, he would've bet smaller (in my estimation) so I figure I'm good and I can put in my last $30 and hopefully not have to show the hand down (not because it would change villain's play against me, but because it would give the rest of the table a different impression of me, too). |
