My 1905FP is way too bright. Please help
Using DVI, I am currently unable to lower the brightness level on my 1905FP. Using the monitor buttons, adjusting the menu does not affect the brightness. I currently have it set at 0%. I was able to slightly lower the brightness in XP using display properties, but it is still way too bright. Thanks,

Re: My 1905FP is way too bright. Please help
I noticed that using DVI I cannot adjust the contrast, or even select it in the 1905FP monitor menu. Maybe dell lets me move the adjustment, but doesn't allow actually changes? I dunno, and my eyes are burning.

Re: My 1905FP is way too bright. Please help
your video card could have gamma/brightness adjustments, look in the advanced properties where you would change your monitor resolution

Re: My 1905FP is way too bright. Please help
The only way I can change the brightness significantly is lowering the contrast, or lowering the color levels under color settings. The brightness under advanced properties has an extrememely limited range to change the brightness.
ANYONE: Does changing the brightness from the menu button on your 1905FP/2005FP have much affect? thanks |

Re: My 1905FP is way too bright. Please help
Try installing the enhanced drivers for your card. If it's nvidia or ati, you'll definitely have gamma settings
