Terribly frustrating problem with my dual monitor/laptop setup
For some reason after I updated my video drivers (had some problems with them) I can only get 1680x1050 resolution (the resolution I use on my laptop) on "monitor 2" and can only get 1600x1200 on "monitor 1." Now if I make my laptop monitor 2, I can use 1680x1050 on it, however, it is then monitor 2 and everything goes to my 2001 FP. How can I fix this? AGHHH

It just fixed itself, I don't know how, sorry to clutter the board.

Re: Terribly frustrating problem with my dual monitor/laptop setup
I have a laptop with Dual Monitors. Whenever I try to change the resolution on my monitor one this happens:
Everything stays the SAME size, except now I can 'scroll' around the edges of my monitor. IE basically there's more dekstop to view, but it doesn't fit within the confines of my physical monitor. So I move my mouse over to the left and it scrolls over. Like looking at a giant SIM CITY MAP, back in the day. I can move east west north and south, but I just want everything to fit on the screen and look small so I can multitable. Horrible explanation, but anyone ever have this happen? |
