I don't play this high, but given the level of aggression I have heard of in this game, I like both hands. I would have played them the same.

These aren't really blind defense.
First hand I lead the flop. Second hand I play the same. I don't see how you can get away from the first one against an unknown since they could be doing this with some draw, a worse/chopping king, or even worse. |

I don't want it getting checked through, and SB could call his bet anyway so we'd still be bloating. I don't really care about knocking UTG out, he usually doesn't have a 6 or a 3 and if he has a worse king he has 3 outs, I welcome him to call with junk. SB is more likely to have a 5 outer and we can protect against that if button raises.
Really I'm not that worried about protecting, and since there's no guarantee whether we can protect either way I prefer betting so it doesn't get checked through. |

[/ QUOTE ] This flop gets check through maybe 2% of the time. I usually prefer donking the flop with hands where i want to build a pot (or have some kind of draw where i hope to win the pot on the turn. If he raises the flop we're calling down ofcourse, but what if he calls flop and raises turn? Calldown? I've come to prefer giving action with semi-good hands on the flop so I save 1SB against agressive players. |

PFR will bet a flop like this close to every time and he surely bets many more hands than he will raise with. You're definately not overplayig this hand IMO and it needs to go to a showdown. |

I like both hands.
In hand one I think check raising the flop is better than leading as getting hands with 5 outs to fold is a good thing. |
