I think I normally lead at this turn, and make a decision based on the action. It's sort of hard to imagine what he might have called with on the flop that didn't improve on the turn, though. The reason I wouldn't check is to force the villain to make a larger move to steal the pot.

So there's roughly 1050 in the pot and hero has t1000 on turn- what's the bet? 300? 500? If hero gets repopped push or fold?

That's a good question. It seems silly to go for 1/2 your stack and then fold. If you push, you're only getting called by a hand that beats you. 300 looks weak, but maybe bet that and fold to a raise. If you get repopped, you have 2 outs against trips and none against the flush.

I hate that answer.

you REALLY need some reads here, or at least some stats to know what type of player he is.

if you have an idea of what type of palyer he is you can better put him on a range then you can compare optoins and see which one seems best.

You have no reads, no stats, nothin- he doesn't seem like a retard. What is the play?

well, then bet more on flop. you'll get a better idea of his hand that way. then when you hit on the turn you can either push or check/fold depending on how likley it is you think he has the flush.

Bet how much on the flop then? This is like HOH2- price yourself in so the decision is easy . . . But that doesn't seem right.

no, not bigger to price yourself in. bigger like close to pot sized, or at least 2/3-3/4 range.

i don't know though, maybe that doesnt fit your style. but i feel like in general it makes you tougher to play against.
