When the four I have on order are delivered, I'll have 25. I can think of about 5 more I'd like to get eventually.

Too many options, redo you survey as

0-5
6-10
11-15
15-20
20-25
25-30
More than 30.

I considered that it might be overly specific to count one by one, but it looks like it's shaping up to a pretty good approximation of a bell curve centered around 10 books with a blip in the 40-50 book range. (Based on results so far.)

There's another blip in the over 70 range, but I wonder if that is accurate. I think there's always some respondents to surveys who get a kick out of checking off the least likely response.

You would get the same distribution with binned results, and not have an illusion of accuracy caused by getting "exact" numbers.

When you design surveys, you want to make them as easy to use as possible. Having too many options is a no-no.

Standard amateur (newbie?) collection here: HEP/GSHE/SSHE. Holding off on grabbing anything else until SSHE becomes second nature.

50 something, and ready to order some more (ie Phil Gordon's little green book can't wait).
