How I Built My Table
Hey guys, nice site going on here. I happen to build my first table this past week. I won't sell it but I did put together a site on how I built it. Please check it out and give me some feedback. I plan to build a Racetrack with a 5" Oak rail next.

Wow! You went all out, Pete. I bet your house is full of your own work, and it's probably just as precisely done.

Re: How I Built My Table
Thank you guys, wait till you see my racetrack. Going to turn the oak and have a one piece oval. I know the thing is a padded rail but I like the look and feel of hard wood better.
Thanks again |

Re: How I Built My Table
Bet it's easy to do with $10,000.00 worth of woodworking equipment in your garage and years of carpentry experience. At least you make it look easy.

Re: How I Built My Table
Your table turned out nice. I'm drawing mine up now and it's the same basic design but the legs off the pedastal have a curved swirl design to them. Still drawing it and probably gonna do a cad before I start on it. Your site is great. I'm still working on what dimensions would be best for the top. I think I might use yours.
