Default POLL: Which is a greater abuse of power?

Recently I have begun to wonder whether Bill Clinton or Bush, Delay, & Company have abused their power more. What are your thoughts?

If you want to know which abused power more, why did you phrase the poll to highlight minor abuses for one group and major abuses for the other? Possibly because you're not really interested in anyone's "thoughts" about the subject, you just want to push an agenda while looking like you're making an honest impartial inquiry (which you did an amazingly poor job of, BTW).

The correct answer, of course, is that BOTH are criminals.

Help, my cover has been blown!

Anyway, I'm happy to hear anything that the Criminal Clinton did that compares to the "accidental" war launched by President Chimpy. OOPS!

if clinton's lying about the sex was a 'minor abuse' then why is it ok and 'fiscally responsible' for republicans to spend BILLIONS of dollars on trying to make him look bad and impeach him?

yet when democrats speak out against W's 'major abuse' it's not ok and they are just 'whining' and 'being annoying'

Did Ken Starr really spend "BILLIONS of dollars?"

Well I have no idea about the exact totals, but there was other money other than the money Starr spend...they were going after his jugular way before Starr entered the equation.

I'm a criminal - I jaywalked today and smoked something I shouldn't have...

but there are degrees of criminality - With Clinton, I think the most criminal act of that affair wasn't him, it was Republicans spending 40 mil. so they could find out he got a blowjob.

Bill didn't cost anyone their lives with his indescretion. Bill didn't send our armed forces into a Muslim quagmire that's left several hundred, if not thousands of Americans dead.

Bill didn't ignore the judgements of everyone who knew better when he launched a military intervention - he trusted his advisors, and of course, we had some problems, but nothing that killed thousands of Americans.

and he didn't lie about our reasons for invading - he didn't commit treason in his State of the Union speech...all he did was get laid by an ugly chick. (I'd cover it up too - )

most rational folks agree there is a massive difference in the degree of the accusation and the crime committed - Bill should have been made to have sex with Hillary, and Bush should be impeached -

The funny part is that Clinton admitted to breaking US law, and so far I haven't seen anything that convinces me that Bush has.

Bush hasn't really *abused* his power, he's only used the power given to him. I'll argue all day that the power is itself corrupt and criminal, but he hasn't broken any US law (while in office).

The fact that you can get these results with the system we have now should convince anyone that just electing "better" people isn't good enough - the entire system needs to be thrown away.
