Default Playing the Party rebuy without exploiting the \"glitch\"

Can one be competitive in the rebuys without exploiting the glitch?

Perhaps I should rephrase the question, should one bother with the rebuys if they have no intention of exploiting the glitch?

I think 20 rebuys is a bit excessive, but 10 sounds about right. I think the prize pool in these is at about the same as the average $50 freeze out. They seem very attractive due to the number of weak players and virtual guarantee you will have an excellent stack by the end of the first break. Last one I played I had triple average and my Shania was looking HOT .

well in the 30 tonight I think I am in for 600 and have 5k

I've had some pretty obscene bad luck, including the latest JJ loses to 99 for 6k type instance.

edit - ak vs 77 knocks me to 0, trying again

the question is, are they more profitable in the long run vs the stars 5r, I'am still debating that.

Color me uninformed....

What exactly is this glitch? From some of the replys, I am maybe guessing putting a bunch of money into a table, since they eliminate higher number tables first, so you know exactly when they will move you. Or is there something else, I'm uneducated on this.
