Default AK Hand vs Chief911

This hand occured in yesterday's Stars 11R. I was new at the table, and basically folded for an orbit or two until this hand came up. BB = Chief911 who seemed to be playing fairly tight.. What's your plan on the turn?

I'd fold. Maybe Chief had a bad string of cards, but he's not tight. Still, it doesn't look like he's going to let this one go.

I was about to wonder why you were folding this on an a high board then I realized I'm an idiot. Don't ask me where I saw that ace.

I'd fold it. If he called your big reraise and then lead out, he probably likes his hand, or had a read that you didn't have something yet. Either way, too many hands you could be behind here, and I don't think he is going to fold this hand.

Time to cut your losses and bail out. Cheif looks to like this flop and I'm pretty sure your beat here.

I don't doubt this, but I dont put him on a Queen or a set with his line.

Maybe he remembers a post I made some time ago where I said it really pisses me off when someone bets into me when I raised preflop

Agreed. Betting into a preflop raiser is a weird play because c-betting is so incredibly common. Minbetting into a preflop raiser is very strange. Villain then makes the same play again on the turn. My read on chief is . 9T? I have no idea. I honestly can't think of a hand where this play makes any sense.

Chief, commentary?

I think if you make it 4K now he folds AQ, but he obviously calls/pushes with a set.

Up to you where to go with this one. Personally, I'd just call on the flop, but I'd also do it with aces vs. him (*cough* maybe *cough*).

I don't think AQ is folding period.

However, putting in a substantial raise or pushing is a reasonable alternative to folding. Villain could have a pocket pair or second pair or something, which he probably would fold to a big raise.

I agree, it's pretty obvious Chief knew his flop donk bet was getting raised, and therefore I don't know how often he would even considering folding top pair. I may even go broke with a queen no kicker against a very aggro player in his spot- the way he played it. AQ is not folding to a reraise here.
