I was looking at the tourney schedules in Cardplayer at casinos in Vegas. I was looking at tourneys without rebuys and saw some listed as "No-Limit Hold'em" and "No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout". What is the difference?

I think a NL hold'em freezeout is like the online "shootout" tourneys (double or triple shootout). Each table plays until one person has all the chips.

You are completly wrong. Freezeout is a no-rebuy tournament. A shootout is a series of one-table tournaments.
