I went through the steam play logs month by month in a range from Sept thru Dec. Now keep in mind these are every game including baseball and basketball within those months. I will post a basketball log when i can.
2003 Sept 117-115-4 Oct 73-58-1 Nov 209-161-6 Dec 221-186-12 2004 Sept 210-181-10 Oct 140-110-2 Nov 310-250-12 Dec 295-260-15 2005 Sept 122-109-6 Now if some of you math guys could do the %'s. Also if you could for me do the math on this situation. 5% juice and 10% kickback on all losses. (a deal i have with a book) |

If the Sept numbers include baseball they are useless because of the moneyline aspect not having anything to do with win/loss figures. Other months look promising.

I wish i had the time to pull out the baseball and just do a straigh football log. I am going to check with DB and see if they have it separated. If not it would be alot of work.

thanks. it kinda confirmed my hypothesis that november/ late october when BB is just starting is the best time of the year for steam.

I think he is an idiot for offering that deal but it benefits me so I sure am not saying anything. I've been playing with him for about 3 years, he always pays on time so I feel i can trust that he won't screw me now. |

I computed the units under the assumption that they were all -110/-110 situations. I know these #s are off because of the baseball skew, but they're easy to compute so I did them anyway. Units would look like this:
Sep 03 -8.636363636 Oct 03 8.363636364 Nov 03 29 Dec 03 14.90909091 Sep 04 9.909090909 Oct 04 17.27272727 Nov 04 31.81818182 Dec 04 8.181818182 Sep 05 1.909090909 Under the alternative "special deal," units look like this: Sep 03 7.928571429 Oct 03 17.32380952 Nov 03 54.14761905 Dec 03 43.07619048 Sep 04 37.1 Oct 04 34.33333333 Nov 04 70.23809524 Dec 04 46.95238095 Sep 05 18.09047619 |

I'm sorry, I should have put column headings. Columns go Month, Year, and then +/- units on the month. So Oct 03 8.363636364 means October 2003, up 8.363626264 units. Only one month had negative units. Pretty good football system if you ask me (assuming that baseball doesn't account for most of the wins).
