Default jj flop fold 3/6

CO and button were unkowns BB was 40/5 and seemed ok post flop. I havent seen him do anything weird and he seemed pretty straightforward.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed)
FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is MP with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button caps</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, BB calls, Hero calls, CO calls.

Flop: (16.33 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
BB checks, Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">CO bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB 3-bets</font>, Hero folds

I really didnt want to get stuck in a raising war here on the turn and not be able to fold. Also i checked the flop to see what the action would be.

I'm getting out of this one. You can't very well just call three cold. And raising certainly doesn't seem like a good choice either.

Seems wise. This hand could get very expensive and it looks like at least one better pair is likely to be out there, plus the flush draw could ruin things for you.

I agree with the fold as someone has a bigger overpair too often. Two side points:

1. My spider sense is very nervous about that eight.

2. When you are ahead they probably have a lot of outs. You win considerably less often than you are currently ahead.
