Short stacked on Bubble vs. CO raise
$150 Pearl tournament on Paradise. 22 players left, 20 places pay. Blinds 300/600/50 CO has 21K, I have 6K on button, SB has 10K, BB has 11K.
CO raises to 1500. I have A7o on button. Push or fold? |

Re: Short stacked on Bubble vs. CO raise
I folded this, but I think I should have pushed. CO is likely stealing on the bubble. He may fold and I may have the best hand.

Re: Short stacked on Bubble vs. CO raise
Unless he has been stealing a lot, or you know he is a player that would take advantage of the bubble, I would wait. He can easily call for another 4500 chips and have no threat to his stack. If his stack were smaller I might push. Plus A7 is easily dominated.

Re: Short stacked on Bubble vs. CO raise
CO is a big stack and has been stealing a lot. He is raising into 3 short stacks.

Re: Short stacked on Bubble vs. CO raise
Eh, i actually like the fold, but it depends on the CO. He is likely stealing a lot of the time, but even if he was stealing he might be inclined to call your push.. getting something like close to 2-1, so your FE might not be there. From the SB or BB this is ideal for a stop-n-go, but from the button I just give it up and wait for an open-push spot.
