Default Pokerroom Question

I'm just wondering. Why does ANYONE play pokerrom? It's a rock garden. What brings people there? It seems most players have a clue. There are NO fish. I'm just wondering what I'm missing here. VPIP of most tables in the low 20's. Maybe they are a bit passive preflop but that doesn't make up for the small pots. Someone please lend some sanity here.

I just got down clearing a bonus. A lot of people playing 18% of there hands and raising 12% preflop. Hey!!! I saw a dude playing 40% of his hands!!! I was so excited.

But why is ANYONE playing there. That's what I am trying to figure out. I know why I don't want to play there and I know a lot of reasons not to play there but why is anyone playing at that site?

I play there because it is one of the only sites that is Mac compatible.

So far I have been playing just the .25/.5 and the occasional $5SNG and $1 MTT - at .25/.5, 10 handed, when looking at the hourly statistics for each table, the % to the flop ranges around 45%-65% and the pots are generally in the range of 6-11 BB.

.25/.50 and .50/1.00 are playable there. Above that you should head to the 5-max tables. Just keep an eye on the table configuration. There are still plenty of maniacs and loose passives to feed off of while peacefully co-existing with the regulars.

Great answer. Although I will probably never play there again. I just wanted a reason why SOMEONE of any sense would play there.

Great. Someone that apparently plays the site. Or admits to playing it. Now...tell me why you play it? Thanks!
