Reverse implied odds?
Just a quick checkup, betting the flop and turn with this hand would have to be correct but it just seems i have huge reverse implied odds...
Both villains are loose/passive. PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG calls, 3 folds, SB completes, Hero checks. Flop: (3 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, Hero bets, UTG calls, SB calls. Turn: (3 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, Hero bets, UTG calls, SB calls. River: (6 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) SB bets, Hero folds, UTG raises, SB 3-bets, UTG calls. Re: Reverse implied odds?
I think you have to bet the flop here. When you're called two ways, you might think about giving up on the turn, but I like the bet. River is fine.

Re: Reverse implied odds?
Shorthanded, this flop bet is fine.
Reverse implied odds would be more applicable in a full ring game, say if the SB bet out here and there were several players yet to act in a small pot. You would then just dump the hand right there. |
