Default AK in the sb.

Villian was loose and passive preflop and fairly aggressive postflop. Like it? Hate it? Don't give a hoot either way?

I think this is OK although I might have slowed down after the turn 3 bet. The hand I would fear is 77 (he would certainly play it this way). A player whose aggressive post flop would tend to reraise AA or KK even if he's generally passive (the only other hands you should worry about). Neither the turn or the river would have helped him. If you didn't have the read of him being aggressive post flop, I would have slowed down after the turn 3 bet (and I may have slowed down anyway). You're hoping to see A7s but could be splitting with AK

It`s good.
I do not want to slow down after the turn 3-bet as flopped trips would hace very likely slowplayed the flop.

I would have 3-bet the flop and led the turn. I don't want to give a free card if villain is on a draw. (That said, the c/r is a good alternative line).

The rest is okay given your read.

I would 3 bet the flop. You are either up against a set, an Ax/Kx or a big flush/broadway straight draw. Even though he is passive preflop, would he just call with AA or KK?

I personally wouldn't cap the turn, but that is probably a leak on my part.

I like your river call on his raise.

Let me guess...he flopped the set of 7's?

your line is ok, I may have slowed down on the turn, and just called the 3bet. But I think you played it fine. Sucks that he hit a set, nh.

Given your read I like it. I may cap on the flop. 77 is most likely here, but you can't discount things like A7 and AJ from a player like this.

Oh, and you can also add K4s K3s A4s A3s.

** grunch **

For a loose passive / aggressive. I get as much money in as possible on the river. I may lose to a set, AA, or KK but more than my fair share of the time I looking at Ace-rag or King-rag or worse.

Loose passive / aggressive or loose passive / aggressive makes no difference to me as long as I have a read.

I really hate u checking the turn here. Villian could very well be on hart draw. I don't mind not 3-betting the flop, but u have to lead on the turn.
