This opponent was really interesting. He would constantly donk bet/call a raise every street, or check/call TPTK, and bet weird draws. Play it any differently?

Your turn check doesn't make sense. It's highly unlikely that he holds an 8, but he may be willing to call down with:
1) A worse King 2) Ace high 3) A flush draw (turn only, unles pairs on the river) 4) Pocket pairs He may even bluff raise the turn, which will earn you extra bets. |

AQ plays this way on the river after your turn check through which was real bad.

I assume he was trying to c/r the turn???
As far as the river, you probably need to 3-bet. The only thing you're worried about is trips or a full house. You're ahead of all other 2 pair. |

Not betting the turn is terrible

You guys are weird.
Why is turn check bad? If he has a king, or any pair he is betting it. If he has nothing, I want to give him a chance to bluff or catch something on the river. |

[/ QUOTE ] I understand your reasoning but against an opponent as unpredictable as you have indicated this guy is, I think it is better to just go ahead and keep betting. The only predictable thing about him seems to be that he likes to be there till the end. Make him pay rather than guess what he's going to do next. I never guessed he would raise the river and I bet you didn't either. |

Results: He had QJo.
I think betting turn is the better play almost every time. I just thought this opponent was the exception. May still be wrong though. |
