All of these examples take place in a SH game.
1)Suppose you open-raise from the button. The small blind 3-bets. The big blind folds. Which hands will you cap here? 2)Suppose you open-raise from the cutoff. The button 3-bets. Its folded back around to you. Which hands do you cap here? 3)Suppose the button open-raises. You 3-bet from the SB. The button caps. Which hands do you call his cap with? |

Not trying to be cute but 1/ and 2/ are pretty opponent dependant.
1/ Something like AQ, AJs, 88, KQs 2/ Something like AK, AQs, JJ Maybe more hands against some... 3/ Seriously? Ok 23o (if I had misclicked 3-bet). |

They are all fairly opponent dependant really. But that doesnt mean there arent good and bad answers to the questions.

Against a SB that is rather clueless and doesn't understand blind stealing scenarios, I cap down to TT and AQs. Against an opponent capable of resteailing with A8s, KTs, etc., I cap much more liberally. Down to A8s and 88 or 77. Scenario 2 I'm a little tighter. Down to JJ and AQs. This is tougher to just generalize, though. |

I don't think I've ever seen anyone fold to a reraise in limit poker. This why I hate that scene in rounders.

But it is terribly rare, and any good player should never do it. As in, the OP shouldn't be even considering it. |

In scenario 3, you wouldnt consider folding to a cap if the capper is a tight player who doesnt seem to steal?

Even considering a fold here is awful. If he's a supertight player who would only cap with AA-QQ or AK, and you misread/misclicked and reraised with 64o, you've got 24% equity in the hand and you know where you are on the flop. |
