Can someone post pictures of their books they got spiral bound ?
Please of course.
I'm interested in doing this, I just always like seeing what I'm buying before I buy it. If someone could post pics that would be awesome. THanks |

I'd like to see this also, as it seems like a really kick ass idea. (And we all know how much I love to kick ass.)

Re: As Requested
for those that didn't see the other thread, according to Mr. Wages this service costs about $5 at Kinko's. Looks pretty damned spiffy to me.

Thanks for the pictures! I think I will have to do this. It seems like it would be so easy to have the book laying flat and open to look at while playing online. |

Awesome. Thanks for the pictures! I think I will have to do this. It seems like it would be so easy to have the book laying flat and pen to look at while playing online. [/ QUOTE ] Or for just plain ordinary studying. If 2+2 didn't believe a book should require a crowbar to open up or a brick to keep it open this wouldn't even be necessary. For an everyday textbook (which is what these are) I'll never understand why 2+2 favors the armored car approach to book production. O'Reilly computer books seem to do just fine on durability and are much more intelligently thought out. Sklansky and company may know everything about playing cards but they don't know jack about making a user-friendly book... |

Re: As Requested
Textbooks have guaranteed markets and tend to be sold all at once. Their books don't just sit on the shelves, and their publishers don't have to worry so much about things like returns, which Mason has explained elsewhere in this form as the reason 2+2 binds the books as they do.

[/ QUOTE ] I like the newer 2+2 binding better than the older binding that inevitably would crack on repeated readings. Thanks for the pics, might have to try that [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Dave |

Re: As Requested
Another consideration with custom binding is the benefit of adding a new faux "work-friendly" cover.
C'mon, start giving some work-related titles of your favorite 2+2 books. Scott |
