Trouble with top pair out of position
CO has been extremely loose so far, and he'll call the flop with any pair, any draw, and decent overcards. He is also pretty aggro. Previously, I bet 2 pair on the turn, and check/called his river bluff (pot size) in a smallish pot.
UTG is new and unknown. The river was my attempt at a block, but I'm thinking check/call or check/fold might be better. Anyone play the flop or turn differently? Re: Trouble with top pair out of position
I think a c/c would have been better.

Re: Trouble with top pair out of position
bet less on dry flop
bet stronger on river, 15$ or so then fold to a raise. |

Re: Trouble with top pair out of position
Why are you betting the river? What worse hand calls? What better hand folds? Obviously your hand doesn't like a raise very much.
Maybe T9s calls? I don't think he folds anything you beat. Check/Call vs. this opponents is ok I think. Check/Fold isn't far behind though. |
