Continuation bets at 200$ NL
Do you do them (against 1 opponent) and how much do you bet? I usually bet 1/2 pot and very very seldom don't do them at all.
More importantly can you make an automatic profit against continuation betters like myself by raising flop or calling flop and betting turn? I feel the continuation betting is very powerful since a potential stealer will have to pay very much those times his steals miss. Ideas? |

yes I always bet the same. depending on draw heavy board against plenty of opponents I could change that but like 95% I bet 1/2 pot.

I use 3/4 pot for continuation or real. I used to use 2/3 but I feel that 3/4 to pot has had more fold equity.
thats just from my limited experience. |

[ QUOTE ]
i'm betting 2/3-3/4 pot on 2/3-3/4 of all flops. [/ QUOTE ] On all flops or just the ones where you was preflop raiser? If you sometimes check vs lonely opponent when you raised preflop shouldnt you mix in a few slowplays too vs good opposition? I very rarely slowplay or checkraise. Checkraising gives away so much strength in my view. Betting into someone just says that you dont want more cards to come cheap it is often the opposite of strength. |
