Woo! Finally something to use my UB points for (assuming they accept them for buyins as usual.)

Crud, I just realized I'm most likely going to miss this. Maybe I'll sign up and provide some dead money just to encourage UB to run more.

We could both bring our laptops up to Art Thief Central. Right?

Which is to say, I won't be there either.

You can use points for buy ins? I have no cash on there, but have like 8000 points lol.

Many UB tournaments do allow points to be used, but not all. IIRC the rate is something like 2500+250 points for a $10+1 tournament. A much better deal than anything the UltimatePoints store.

I'll definitely try to make this tourney.

Hopefully, UB starts running tourneys like this more often. It seems like the easiest way to increase the popularity of TDL. Additionally, unlike SNGs, it won't compete directly with cash games.

I don't think TDL will ever be the most popular game in town. On the other hand, with UB and FT promoting it, I could see it becoming as popular as omaha/8.

When you say FT I'm assuming you mean Full Tilt correct? Any news on if they're gonna spread this soon? Haven't heard anything for a few months.

I've heard rumor of "by November", but it's really nothing more than hearsay.
