Pre-Flop aggression Help
I have been trying to work on my all around aggression. I play almost exactly like the chart recommends for starting hands but my PFR comes in at 5 ½. I don’t know how to up it to above 7 without modifying the starting hand charts. Here is a look at my stats which I think shows my aggression is way to low. I have been playing break even poker over 35k hands but making good money on bonuses. I think this one of my biggest leaks along with not stealing enough blinds.

[/ QUOTE ] Well, if you try to steal more blinds, your PFR will go up. :-) Reply with your PFR broken down by which position you're sitting in. That will be more helpful for analysis. |

Re: Pre-Flop aggression Help
Sweet baby jesus you should burn that chart immediately and go into therapy to deal with the trauma. Hopefully you will not be scarred for life. Call KQs in ep? Easy raise! Fold 87s on the button unraised? What is there are 5 callers??

Re: Pre-Flop aggression Help
A lot of preflop raising is situational, and not to be easily incorporated into any chart.
Permit me a vanity link. I made this post for guys like you, and there is a lot of great advise from other posters in that thread. Not all of it is about preflop aggression, but a lot is. |
