Re: River Bluff Theory Question
not enough info. it depends on the opponents.
in my experience however, casino players tend to call more often than online players, which means it will be more profitable online. |

Re: River Bluff Theory Question
There are some specific factors that should be considered here other than the tendencies of the opponents.
So let's assume similar calling tendencies for the sake of this question. |

Re: River Bluff Theory Question
In general, live players are looser. Does that answer your question?
Value bet more and bluff less at live games. |

Re: River Bluff Theory Question
The biggest difference is if the bluff gets called your casino players are more likely to remember and pay you some of the money back the next time you have the nuts on the river.
The second biggest difference is the first potential caller is going to look at the second potential caller in a casino. That might hurt you or help you, but it changes the dynamics. |

Ding. Ding. We have a winner. My feeling is the when the first player has a "bluff catching" hand like ace high, he is more likely to muck it online because he can't look left and pick up any info from the player who just missed his draw. |
