Default how many buddies on your list?

Sometimes I wonder about the most mundane things, like how many buddies you all keep on your buddy lists.

Do you have so many buddies that you usually don't have trouble finding at least one at any given time?

I think you should move your post to another area. This is heads up and short handed.

I think that people with fourteen posts aren't yet in a position to judge such things.

I don't want to get too caught up in this. Maybe this thread belongs elsewhere. But I was also curious how successful six-max players in particular are in locating their buddies.

I've only played at Party for a few months, and have tiny number of players on my list. I can virtually never find my buddies. But already, I've gained some perspective on this.

2,000 people on a list? Wow.

I think it's a fine topic to discuss in HUSH among HUSH posters.

I have about 80 buddies on my list. Alot of them bust out or change limits or hide themselves so usually I can find only 3-6 during evening hours when I play.

I'm not a hard core dataminer but I will datamine 8 tables or so overnight once or twice a week and also some weekend days. If my buddies get hard to find I go into PT and sort all of the players by VPIP. If they have a VPIP > 60 and have more than 50 hands or so in the last couple of weeks I manually add them to my buddy list. Seems to keep the supply fresh enough.

What are some methods or strategies for datamining with poker tracker?

The term datamining is being misused here. In the poker context, it means collecting player data by observing tables.

I have roughly 2,000. I have them separated. I stopped using them for the most part except for the list with the superfish
