villain is loose and semi-aggressive

I didn't see much of a reason to raise this flop.

I raise this turn a lot here as the last bet going in pot UI; however, I thought I would show this hand down and didn't feel like putting more in than I had to.

When the ace hits and he bets, I always think...."hhmmm...he doesn't care."

How many raise here?

Anyone play the hand different in general?

I used to play this hand the way you did. Lately I've been folding the turn.

Probably the reason why he doesn't care about the river is that he's on a pure bluff. He might pay you off with ace high, but I'd just call the river.

I also fold the turn in these situations. You're getting 6.5 to 1 on a 6.6 to 1 shot. Sure your hand might be best, but are you going to call the river UI with AK high?

That's folding the best hand against a laggy player way too often. There are also times when he'll just check the river too...not many, but it needs to be considered.

Amen. If the probability that he is behind now, will still be behind on the river, and will check in that case is even 2.5%, that is worth about a full out here. I'd say that the probability is at least that high.

I dont understand how all of this is adding up. You aren't being consistant with your read. Going from semiaggro to LAG to checking the river like a passive player? I think I need a slightly better description here. Anyway, against your original read I think you should be folding the turn also because semiaggro does not equal LAG and most people are not betting into me on that flop with nothing because it is a very drawless board and there are also two other people in there. Not getting the odds I fold the turn. On the river I would say that I call because I really want to showdown and I dont want him to get tricky, raising and calling a 3bet is not good here IMO, either that or raise and fold to a 3bet. This pot just isn't big enough to be doing stuff like that.

count me in for a raise. i don't think its a "he doesn't care" scenario as much as a "hoping his 9 or PP is still good" scenario. if the flush was not bd i would maybe just call if he is the type to bet his draws.

Those are my thoughts.

Now...how do you feel about a 3 bet response?

Either fold the turn or raise the river - if you aren't planning on the raising when you hit, then you don't have sufficient odds to call the turn.
