Default Has your girlfriend ever been \'late\'?

i think this thread has the potential to generate a lot of good stories/advice/punchlines. plus i notice there has been a trend towards way-too-personal posts (ie. thinman's recent one, the genital warts one etc etc etc) and i just want to fit in.

i'll get started.

my ex is 5 days late and i am freaking out.

the fact that since is an ex and not a girlfriend just makes things messier.

Run now, run hard and keep running. I didn't say it, the great Al Bundy did.

I've had this too, and it was a sweat. But suddenly, about a week later after all the sweating, she causually told me she'd started the day after she'd told me, and forgot to mention it - so left me hanging for about 5-6 days

Girls, huh!

I had the same thing happen to me in high school. My gf was 2 weeks late , but then didn't tell me for another week after she finally had her period. And then she also told me that it was abnormal for her to be late when she was stressed out, so she hadn't really been worried about being pregnant during this time. Of course, I hadn't slept for 3 weeks during this period...I was quite certain that I was going to be a 17 year old daddy.

my gf has been late times before too.

a lot of things contribute to changes in cycle. other women she's been hanging out with, more excercise/less excercise, adjustments in her life, hrs of sleep, etc.

i'd jump on a preg test either way just to be sure.

but my gf has been late a bunch of times, one time like 7 days and i was losing my mind too.

for now, calm down. so many things can affect her that it is impossible to pin it on pregnancy just yet.

and since it is an ex, are you sure you're the cause?

one thing i've come across is not eating much. my last gf would go on stupid diets, and they would often cause her to be late.

i have been dating/messing around with this girl off and on for about 3.5 years now. she have never been late more than 2 days before. which makes me worry so much more.

i think she is trying to lose weight right now. but she dieted a lot in the past. she was also bullemic(sp?) at the very beginning of our relationship and she was pretty timely then.
