Re: TPNK, river decision?
I make a crying call and hope not to see JT. Though a taggish player is going to have this a damn high percentage of the time. Since I'm not willing to give him that exact hand, and we're beating/chopping with some other stuff we should call.
One thing to note is that villain really can't be that good, even if his numbers look taggish. He has already done something in this hand to tell me that he's not great. Since he's not great, he might well do something silly like call down here with QJ something like that, and then decide to bet the river when checked to him. |

Re: TPNK, river decision?
If you're MP3 do you cold call with JT on the flop here?
Were you referring to his MP3 open limp as the not great thing? |

Re: TPNK, river decision?
Save yourself the bet. MP3 looks like a very decent player, and the only hope you had until the river was that he had JTs (which is probably worth the cold call on the flop if he also picked up a backdoor flush draw).
Barring the OESD, I cannot see him calling 2 on the flop and another on the turn with less than top pair/good kicker. |

Re: TPNK, river decision?
I decided that i wouldnt show the best hand here often enough to call so i folded. I cant see him coldcalling the flop with a worse king or a queen, and his most possible holding (JT) made a straight on the river. The pot gives me 8.5:1 but i dont think its enough in this case.
