Live 3/6 vs Invictus33
I'm BB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Invictus raises in MP, a few limpers, and I call.
Flop : T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] - I check, Invictus bets, folds to me, I call. Turn : 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] - Check, bet, call. River : 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] - I value bet. Thoughts? |

I'd donkbet the turn.

I'd donkbet the turn. [/ QUOTE ] I'd thought of that one, and that's the main question I had in this hand. I'm wondering if I only get called by better hands and worse hands fold. |

What is a "donkbet"?

What is a "donkbet"? [/ QUOTE ] It's a bet out of nowhere on a card that couldn't possibly help any hand I could reasonably hold. |

Re: Live 3/6 vs Invictus33
Thanks. Also, why don't you raise the flop? I am thinking he holds suited overcards, as the only hands I can think of that deserve a MP pfr from a 2p2er and beat you are ATs, or a pp.

Re: Live 3/6 vs Invictus33
If I raise the flop, does AK or AQ call my turn bet without spiking a K or a Q?

[/ QUOTE ] If I've got him on specifically one of those two hands, he has 6 outs to beat me. If I can get him to make a double sized turn bet without hitting one of those cards, profit++. |

Re: Live 3/6 vs Invictus33
If you could specifically put him on one of those hands(AQ, AK), you have to c/r the turn. That's a pretty narrow read on an opponent though. Why wouldn't he be betting his AT, Overpair or something similar for value? Do you have a good read on his preflop raise hands from MP with limpers? Hell, I'd raise something like KTs from MP with that many players limping in...
