Hi Vex,

I would certainly agree with that assessment!

Ok, I bit. Tilt is my #1 "issue" among the above choices. I like winning with great hands more than I like money, so a string of bad-beats can make me angry.

We all thank you for your honesty. The poll is kind of useless without it.

I tried to separate Tilt from Poor Discipline to force it to be a category of its own, but I suppose some lumped it into Poor Discipline and therefore chose that over Tilt.

that is a good separation. i think i have good discipline, but still a tilt problem (voted for tilt). my solution: i quit when i am angry and make the first major mistake (that's why i don't play right now btw ).

I chose "Overall lack of knowledge" because to me, it is the same thing as "all of the above".

"Faulty Reads" is the respectable big brother to "Tilt."

Why did I put the other guy all in when I had TPTK and there were 3 spades on the board? Because I was sure there was no way he had a flush. And even if he did, my push would surely represent to him that I had the nut flush.

Boy was I stunned when he called and showed down the A-high flush himself.

But was I on tilt? No sir, no sir, no sir.
