nl 50
Ive just sat down at the table so no reads. I raise qq utg+1, mp makes it 10. I'm not a fan of re-raising here so I take a flop. Flop is 10-6-2 rainbow. I check and villain moves in. I call. Re-raise preflop? Bet flop? Fold to all in? Help is much appreciated.

Re: nl 50
That's a tough one. I probably reraise preflop with a minraise and see how it goes. I feel more confident about my hand if I get the last raise in. If villain pushes there, you can get away from the Queens preflop. As you played it, I think you have to look villain up but you're probably behind here. Outside chance he has Jacks or AT but really you're probably against Kings or Aces.

Re: nl 50
I agree with everything you said there. I ended up calling because the flop move in was rather out of character for anyone at this level who has a big hand...i think id have had an easier time folding to a pot-sized bet.He had kk by the way.

Re: nl 50
next time wait a minute on the results.
i like calling the re-raise, and leading the flop and folding to a raise. the reason being, not too many people at this level are going to re-raise u on the flop with hands that u dont beat. given the way it was played i dont blame u for your call one bit. |

Re: nl 50
Sorry about posting the results so quickly...still a newbie. I really like the line you suggest and every time i get stacked with pair under pair its the line i wish i would've taken because i think its a fairly easy fold on the flop if i lead and he moves in. Thanks for the tips on posting and the advice.
