Don't get me wrong. Casino is great. The other two, in my mind, are classics. Like, all-time top twenty movies on my list. Everything great about Casino is even better in Goodfellas, so there is that.

[/ QUOTE ] i'm not necessarily going to argue about pulp fiction, but la confidential? it was great and all, but while you're talking about other movies doing it better, there's a bunch of noir movies that preceded la confidential.

You're right, I'm being inconsistent. That being said, I'm not really well versed in old time film noir, other than the Maltese Falcon and Touch of Evil. Maybe someone can recommend some other classic film noirs for my viewing pleasure.
