Hey,
I've used the search function but i can only seem to come across 6 handed ones and others that don't seem to apply. From what i've also read the auto rate rules that PT come with are not the "best". Can anyone offer any explanation as to why that is. I'd much appreciate if anyone could link me to a good set of rules. |

I use them, and I am happy with it.
I have only heard that they are not the best for no limit. |

Most people around here use bisonbison's rules. I believe they are linked to in the microlimit FAQ thread. There has been some talk lately that even those are a little off though, so I don't think there are any perfect set of rules.

Afaik, the default rules use the aggression-factor including the preflop play, which is not good, I think. So you should at least untick the box in every rule that sais so. Moreover I think they differentiate little considering the looseness of players. It's mostly + or - 20% VP$IP and preflop aggression. That is not too good in micro-limit games I think. You should implement the tendency to go to the showdown too often etc. I think the rules from the pokertrackerguide are good. But that ebook costs you some $$.
