Default QJs, one player all-in

MP just lost a big pot last hand and is down to a few $. I figured he might raise all-in with any two here. BB I don't really have a read on.

How is my play?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 5 handed) converter

SB ($100)
BB ($158.45)
UTG ($69.41)
MP ($2.80)
Hero ($156.70)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
1 fold, MP calls $2.80 (All-In), Hero calls $2.80, 1 fold, BB calls $1.80.

Flop: ($8.90) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players, 1 all-in)
BB bets $5, Hero raises to $15, BB calls $10.

Turn: ($38.90) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players, 1 all-in)
BB bets $25, Hero calls $25.

River: ($88.90) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players, 1 all-in)
BB checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: $88.90

You are basically fishing for the open ender on the turn for 25/38 of the pot, because there isn't really any hand you are ahead of here. I let it go on the turn.

I don't know if it's so simple. Somtimes my Q and J outs are good, and sometimes I'm ahead against a hand like QT. I'm getting 2.5:1 on the call.

I put some hand ranges in PokerStove.

Board: Th 9s Jd 2c
Dead:

equity (%) win (%) / tie (%)

Hand 1: 40.2186 % [ 00.35 00.06 ] { QhJh }
Hand 2: 59.7814 % [ 00.54 00.06 ] { JJ-99, AJs, KQs-KJs, QJs-Q9s, JTs, T9s, 98s, AJo, KQo-KJo, QJo-QTo, JTo, T9o, 98o }

Is this range for villain too wide?

I don't think your hand is strong enough to isolate pf, and this is less than a standard opening bet. I don't like the flop. You either need to go passive and call, (you're getting about 2:1 so i think it's ok if the opponent is gonna pay you off). Or you could take the aggro route, which you tried to do, but you need to raise more, tell villain you're serious. $20 is good. After the flop raise if checked to you, fire a 2/3rd pot bet. If he leads into you, let it go. As you played it, fold turn.

So you fold preflop?

You might be right I didn't raise enough on the flop.

What range of hands do you put villain on after the turn bet? Thanks.

I think without a read on the BB, that range is too wide for what he would put 25$ into the 38$ pot with after you raised him as you did on the flop.

What range do you put villain on? I'm genuinely curious.

In the range I choose, almost every hand currently has me beat, but he might muck some of those hands preflop and not bet the turn with others.

I'd probly just call the flop. Draw at the decent price offered.

What is your plan if BB bets on the river?

It depends on the river card and the bet size. I would probably fold to a pot-sized bet unimproved.
