Default raise turn? or standard?

I'm confused. Villian is unknown. I'm assuming he's a normal 3/6 donk. Should I raise turn for protection against hearts and value? I was folding to a river raise of course.

Damnit. I'm dumb. But I also don't want something like 8x 22-44 66-77 folding that turn so I figured let him keep bluffing and flat call. I guess the protection is more valuable so raise? This is why i'm still at 3/6.

yeah, raise the turn. he has a draw or a made hand you beat here way too often. Don't worry about him folding 8x as that is unlikely from a normal 3/6 unknown.

I'd call the 3-bet and call a non-heart river, maybe call a heart river depending on opponent

No one commented on this, but I think you should just check the river. You'll get some info on him by seeing what his hole cards are, and there is no way he is folding to a bet if he is holding a heart, and there is no way he is calling a bet if he isn't (or at least that liklihood is small), plus he could check-raise you with a flush or a bluff and then what would you do?

1) i'm 99% he wouldn't c/r bluff in this spot
2) the information i'm getting from his hole cards doesn't outweigh the value of betting
3) i'm not trying to fold a better hand (like a small heart) i'm betting for value.

are you convinced this guy could call with less than a flush though? If you are the other guy, and are holding something like two pair or a set, do you fold to a bet here?
