Default Should I make a Crying Call

Unfortunately - no read on the villan. Party Poker .50/1

I have K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] on the button. One fold, UTG+1 calls, two folds, CO calls, I raise, blinds fold, UTG+1 calls, CO calls.

Flop (Pot Size - 7.5 SB) 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Two checks, I bet, UTG+1 calls.

Turn (Pot Size - 4.5 BB) 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG+1 checks, I bet, UTG+1 raises, I call

River (Pot Size - 9.5 BB)9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
I check, UTG+1 bets, I fold

UTG+1 takes down a 10.5 BB pot. Since I didn't have a read I assumed that she was incapable of doing anything creative. Is there any way I'm good 1 out of 11 times here?

Also - is the Hand Converter broken ... it's not working for my Party Poker hands.

I'd prob call, you see something like A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 often enough

delete the word Texas from the HH and it works fine, thanks for at least typing the hand out

Without a read you need to call IMO. Even with a read 98 is often a strong possibility.

You definitely need to call this, you're easily good at least 1 in 11 times.

either fold the turn to the raise (which is horrible) or call down. Calling the turn and folding this river sux.

Why do you think calling the turn and folding the river is worse than folding the turn? I've obviously got a ton of ways to improve...

I initially had written if you were gonna fold the river after calling the turn, you should have just folded the turn, but then I double checked and saw the FD, and deleted that part .. if you didn't have the FD then his comment is correct, as you don't have odds to continue if behind, but calling the turn folding on a river blank would be terrible.

this case is different in that you do have odds to chase, but you should only be folding the river if you have a very good read on your villian, which you do not in this case, making this an easy river call

Missed the flush draw, this river is still worth a call at party .5/1
