Bodog \"Hungry\" for players(?)
This should probably go under "Internet Bonuses" but I consider MTT my home. I opened an account at Bodog but didn't depost because I wanted to get a feel for the software.
I received this email shortly afterwards: Hi Steve, It's been a couple days since you opened your Bodog account and we still haven't seen you at our money tables..if you play poker, I've got a great deal for you... I just got permission from our Poker manager to offer you a $109 buy-in to next Sunday's weekly poker tournament. If you make your first deposit of a minimum $100, I will credit your account for the entire buy-in, and you can still wager the $100 anywhere on our site (plus a 20% bonus). No strings, and you get a shot at the $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. The last few weeks we had about 500-700 entrants, and the top 80 finished in the money(first place was $29,000). Even at $109, that's great value--for free it's awesome. This is an exclusive offer and you must either receive a call or an email from me to take advantage of it. As well, we can only give away about 70 spots for this tournament on Sunday, so it is first come first serve in terms of depositing and getting the bonus. Cheers, Bodog Sportsbook - Poker - Horses 1-888-263-0000 We also offer a nightly free private tournament with some matching bonuses, let me know if you are interested in this. I made the deposit and sure enough, I had a $120 in eCash and another $109 in Tourney Credits. WooHoo!!! |

Also, a $100k prize pool when they're generally pulling ~$60k in buyins? Wow. |

I've been playing more regularly at BoDog recently, but maybe I should stop for a few days to see if I can get one of these offers.

Re: Bodog \"Hungry\" for players(?)
actually its a pretty good idea. they lose nothing giving away a seat they have already pd for anyway.considering the overlay...they get the 100 and a new money player..win win for them...hopefully win win for you as well! |
