Live poker in England question...
I've started to play tournies in the casinos, all the tournies I've played here we deal ourselves until the final table and then there is a house dealer.
I was dealer, there were a couple limpers, I raised. limpers called. On the flop it went; check, bet and I raised. First limper called allin, second limper also called. On the turn the guy checked and I bet, he called. River he checked I bet he folds. The guy who was all in mucked his hand immediatly after the other guy mucked and said 'you win'. I threw my cards on the table, not in the muck but pretty close. Ok, in the heat of the moment I wasnt thinking clearly and figured I didn't need to show my hand since they mucked. I was wrong about that because the guy was all in. Anyway, nothing further happened I flipped my cards over so they could see, took my chips and that was that. Could they have called over the tournament manager and made something of it? What would happen? Does anyone know? |

Re: Live poker in England question...
If your hand hits the muck it is considered dead.
You must find out from your local casino the local rules as different venues have different rules regarding this. |
